libdnet-dev software package provides DECnet development libraries & Headers, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdnet-dev
libdnet-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdnet-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdnet-dev *
You will get with libdnet-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
